the origin.
We all come from somewhere, and build ourselves into something. The origin girl wasn’t created to become a brand. She wasn't even created to be seen. She was just a girl that came to be at a time that I needed somewhere to put everything I couldn’t say out loud.
I just moved 1200 miles away from home. I was alone everyday - learning a new city and learning myself, trying to figure out who I was in a place where nobody knew me. Art was the language I was most familiar with, and I spoke it when words weren’t enough. She was the first woman I drew, while newly discovering who I was - inventing who I wanted to be.
Across her chest she carried one sentence: “I am who I am.”
I needed to believe it then, and I still need the reminder at times now. To be accepted by the world is pleasure. To be accepted by yourself is peace. I'm still learning that - but it started with her.
And maybe that’s where this collection begins for you, too.
Not with finding someone you want to become, but discovering the parts of who you already are. The desires, insecurities, strengths, flaws, and contradictions that make you human. The things the world has taught you to hide, and the things God has already placed within you.
along came Amani.
Her name means peace in Swahili and aspirations in Arabic. She finds herself somewhere in between those two meanings.
She notices beauty everywhere she goes. She dreams deeply, observes quietly, and wonders what it would feel like to become the woman she admires. Beneath what she outwardly gives, there’s a longing that many of us know but rarely admit to the world.
Envy isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it looks like admiration. Sometimes it looks like aspiration. And sometimes, the life we’re so jealous of is actually our own—we just don’t know it yet.
Amani reminds us that wanting more doesn’t always mean we’re ungrateful for what we have. Sometimes desire is simply showing us something we haven’t learned how to see in ourselves yet.
and then Mira was born.
Her name means admiration in Arabic and boundary in Sanskrit. Her name is her value.
She moves through the world with intention. Every detail is considered. Every step feels deliberate. She knows how to command a room—but even confidence has a shadow.
Beneath her composure is someone learning that worth isn’t measured by perfection. She doesn’t represent being better than anyone else. She represents the courage to define yourself before someone else does. Because true confidence isn’t about standing above people.
It’s about standing firmly within yourself.

Hi, I’m Liv.
I’ve always believed that we’re made up of more than one version of ourselves.
Some days we’re confident. Some days we’re comparing. Some days we’re healing. Some days we’re chasing something we want. Some days we’re simply trying to figure out who we are. The Babygirl Collection was born from my fascination with those different versions of us—the parts we celebrate, the parts we hide, and the parts we’re still learning to understand.
But beneath all of that is something I’ve come to believe more deeply with time: our identity was never meant to be built entirely from what the world tells us we are.
We’re constantly surrounded by things that tell us what to want, how to look, who to be, and what should make us feel worthy. And sometimes we believe them.
The Babygirl Collection is my way of exploring that tension: Children of God, Products of the World. We are created by God, but we grow up in a world that shapes us. We experience desire, comparison, pride, temptation, comfort, ambition, anger, and everything in between.
These girls aren’t here to tell you which version of yourself is good or bad.
They’re here to make you look at yourself a little more honestly. To recognize the beauty and the insecurity. The strength and the flaw. The desire and the fear underneath it. And maybe, somewhere along the way, to remember that the world can influence you without defining you.
That’s what I hope The Babygirl Collection becomes: not just something you wear, but somewhere you discover yourself. Because there are seven girls coming in this first collection.
And there may be a little bit of you in every one of them.
